Introducing Get Rid of and Donate, we are an environmentally led community project focused on recycling and sustainability, thereby reducing our carbon footprint and addressing poverty in our communities.
Since March 2017, recognising the need for sustainability initiatives in our local communities and noticing the unprecedented dumping of waste on our streets, we started collecting unwanted items from people in the community. We have found the local community willing to support our campaign on ‘Global Warning & Climate Change’ making efforts to reduce landfills to protect the environment.
Get Rid of and Donate provides support to people in need, recycling reusable items giving back to the community. The mission to reduce congested landfills locally, campaigning, supporting the devastation of climate change. It may seem inevitable in making the change, but we all can reduce, reuse and recycle ♻️ effectively.
We collect all reusable items clothes, shoes, household items, kitchen appliances, electrical, IT equipment, TVs, computers, stereos, pictures, garden equipment, bed linen, *furniture (by inspection) toys, books, many more items. Contact us and schedule a FREE collection.
